| Thank you very much for last night at the Robin Hood Tom, for some reason Fay was under the impression that I wouldn't like or be interested in you or work. How very wrong she was. Absolutely fantastic, just a shame people felt the need to talk over you. *grumble* |

I watched you play at a small bar in Byron Bay Australia while i was on my travels in 1999. We scraped enough money together to buy one of your cd's. U Turn became the backing track to our travels. My travelling buddy at the time returned to New Zealand and many a discussion was had as to who should be the holder of U Turn he won in a drunken game of cards. I went to visit Leo some years later and we reminisced in the best fitting way we could with a bottle of bourbon and Tom Palmer full blast. I am a very happy man to have found this website and i now will be able to have my own copy of U Turn. Thank you very much.

Hello Tom. I would just like to add to my wife's earlier message how impressed I was last saturday at St Helens with your perforamance. I must confess that I had not come across your work before but loved some very strong material in there. No doubt I will obtain a few more of your recordings in time and hopefully catch you live sooner rather than later. I read that Dylan was one of your influences and you may wish to google my name and see an amusingly nice little film I did regard him and some others for the BBC. I particularly liked the song mentioning Willie Nelson & Neil Young and (the hope of)growing old gracefully. Something I relate to (age) and hope I can achieve!! Anyway well done and keep up the great work Chris |

| Sent a contact note Tom but looking at your guest book just wondered if the Dave Jackson is the illustrious barber once of Pontefract, Padeborn and brother of Mick and Judith. A strange 'signing' of the guest book I know! |
