Having problems hearing Tom's MP3 music clip tracks?
It is usually quite common to be able to download/play a MP3 track.
However, problems do occur.
On a PC (example here using windows XP)...
Normally when clicking on a track title here on Tom's web site
there is a short pause whereafter the Windows Media player will spring
into action and download/play your desired choice.
However, if you have in the past downloaded other media players such as
Real One etc. (or your computer needs a good
booting) it is possible that the MP3 music clip is going elsewhere, and
thus not being heard. To fix this problem, you could try one of the following.
Right click (instead of the usual left click) over a track of your choice
and choose the menu option "Save Target As".
This will physically grab Tom's MP3 music clip and save it to a desired
location of your choice within your computer. Once it has fully downloaded
locate it on your computer and now double click it. It should play with
some sort of media player. You may also find that doing the following
may fix your problematic computer further...
Right Click on this MP3 music file and choose "Properties".
On the following page it should say that the file is a MP3 type. It will
also show what the MP3 file opens with. This (in theory) should say Windows
Media Player. If it does not, click the change button and select the desired
program to open your MP3's with.
On a MAC...
Never had a problem here!
Still stuck. Well why don't you just buy one of Tom
Palmer's albums,
or better still go and see him at a gig.
